Your report

Evidence matters.

A strong AbuseOne report does more than flag suspicious activity. It helps a company understand exactly what happened, where it happened and how the abuse is connected.

Reporting guidelines

Triage

Know what happens after you press submit.

You can track the status of every submission directly from your researcher dashboard.
  1. Submitted

Your report is received by AbuseOne.

  2. Initial review

The report is checked for completeness, duplication and program eligibility.

  3. Company triage

The participating organisation reviews the evidence and potential impact.

  4. Investigation

Related infrastructure, identities and entities may be investigated further.

  5. Decision

The report is accepted, closed as duplicate, marked informative or rejected with a reason.

  6. Reward

Where applicable, the company approves the published reward.

Rewards

Get rewarded for meaningful findings.

Participating companies define their own reward structures based on abuse category, severity, impact and quality of evidence.

The full reward is yours

If a company approves a £860 reward, the researcher receives £860.

AbuseOne’s company-side processing fees do not reduce the published researcher reward.

Example reward structure
SeverityReward range
Low£45 – £215
Medium£215 – £860
High£860 – £4,300
Critical / exceptional impact£4,300+
